Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 pound onions
  • 8 8-inch-diameter flour tortillas
  • 8 ounces coarsely grated smoked Gouda cheese
  • 2 ounces pea shoots or pea sprouts
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
    • 1/3 cup fresh cilantro

Preheat oven to 300°F. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add onions and sauté until almost soft, about 5 minutes. Add barbecue sauce and 2 tablespoons water.
