Beer-Battered Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 deep-fat thermometer
- 4 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup lager such as Harp
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
