BEET PICKLES 7

Ingredients

  • 2 cup(s) water
  • 2 cup(s) sugar
  • 2 cup(s) vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) pickling spice
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • Beets
  • ¼ teaspoon(s) cloves

Leave stems 4 inches long and cook beets until tender. Peel beets and cut in size you would like. Add all ingredients except beets and bring to a boil. Drop beets into hot mixture. Cook 10 minutes after it returns to a boil. Pack into hot jars and seal.
