Berry Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

    • ½ teaspoon baking soda
    • 2 cups fresh raspberries
    • 1 cup fresh blueberries
    • GLAZE:
    • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
    • ¼ cup butter or margarine, melted
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 tablespoons milk

1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs, sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture.
