Beryl's Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 1¾ cups self-raising flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon cochineal
  • 1¼ cups sugar
  • ½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla

1. Mix all ingredients together. 2. Pour mixture into two greased sandwich tins. 3. Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes or longer if necessary.
