Bittersweet Chocolate Sorbet

  • 3 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups water

Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in sugar and cocoa; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
