Blue Cheese Spread 3

Ingredients

• 4 package(s) each) cream cheese, softened (3 ounce pkgs)
• 1 cup(s) crumbled blue cheese
• ¼ cup(s) real mayonnaise
• ½ teaspoon(s) ground thyme
• ½ teaspoon(s) black pepper
• ½ cup(s) whole almonds blanched, split and toasted or 1 cup pecan halves
• Assorted crackers
• + 1 more ingredients
• • ½ teaspoon(s) freeze-dried shallots, crushed

Mix together cream cheese, blue cheese, real mayonnaise, shallots, thyme and pepper until blended. Chill. Shape flat on serving plate to resemble pine cone. Place rounded edge of nuts into cheese in uneven rows. Serve with assorted crackers. Makes 2 cups.
