Ingredients
- 1 whole clove
- 1 3-inch cinnamon stick
- 1 green cardamom pod
- 10 ounces blueberries
- 12 ounces blackberries
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup water
Bring berries, sugar, water, spices, and a pinch of salt to a boil in a heavy medium saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
