Blueberry Bread Pudding with Creme Anglaise

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon (5 gm) vanilla bean powder
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 3 oz (86 gm) sugar
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) half and half (or heavy cream)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
  • ½ stick of butter melted (optional)
  • 2 cups (280 gm) Blueberries
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon (5 gm) ground cinnamon
    • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) pure vanilla
    • 1½ (300 gm) cups of sugar
    • 3 large eggs
    • 4 cups (960 ml) of whole milk
    • 1 loaf of sliced potato bread -cut into cubes
