Blueberry Bread Pudding with Ginger Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ t nutmeg
  • 1 (16-ounce) loaf challah bread, cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 1 c whipping cream
  • 1 ½ c sugar
  • 4 large eggs

    • Pudding:
    • ¼ c water
    • 1 T crystallized ginger or 1/2 teaspoon dried ginger
    • ½ c sugar
    • 2 c fresh or frozen blueberries
    • Blueberry-Ginger Sauce:
    • 1 c fresh or frozen blueberries
