Brandied Cranberry Oranges
Ingredients
- 6 blood or navel oranges
- 3 cups sugar
- ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons brandy (optional)
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 (12-ounce) packages fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed
Peel oranges, if desired. Cut oranges into 1/8-inch slices, discarding ends. Cut slices into quarters.Layer one-third of orange slices, one-third of cranberries, and 1 cup sugar in a large bowl.
