Brandied Date and Walnut Pie

Ingredients

  • Whipped cream
  • 1 2/3 cups walnut pieces (about 6 ounces)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup dark corn syrup
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter, melted
