Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) Sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 3 tablespoon(s) brandy or rum (or 1 teaspoon brandy or rum flavoring)
  • 3 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
  • 2 ½ cup(s) milk
  • ¼ cup(s) butter
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon(s) salt

Combine sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Mix egg with milk and add to saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
