Brats n' Beer Potato Salad
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 4 bratwurst (substitute hot dogs)
- salt and pepper
- 3 tablespoon(s) olive, canola or other vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon(s) vinegar
- 1 tablespoon(s) mustard
- 1 ½ pound(s) boiling potatoes, red or Yukon Gold

- 1 cup(s) sauerkraut, drained and, if desired, rinsed
- 1 bottle or can of beer, preferably full-flavored dark beer, divided
