  • 1-½ tsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger (or ¼ tsp. ground ginger)
  • 2 large pink or red grapefruit, halved, at room temperature
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs. unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
  • 3 Tbs. light or dark brown sugar

Position a broiler pan several inches away from the heating element and heat the broiler. Section each grapefruit half by cutting between the rind and the pulp and between each membrane.
