  • 4 large egg yolks
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 6 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups whipping cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
