Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups vanilla yogurt (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups warm (110°) milk
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ½ cup buckwheat flour
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • Cooking-oil spray
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 ¼ cups warm maple syrup
    • 3 tablespoons sugar, divided
    • 1 pkg. active dry yeast (2 1/2 tsp.)

1. Sprinkle yeast and 1 tbsp. sugar into a medium bowl; pour 1/2 cup warm (110°) water over them. Stir and let stand until foamy, about 8 minutes.
