Buckwheat Polenta

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 4 cup(s) water, plus more for the boiler
  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter, or to taste (optional)
  • 1/3 cup(s) buckwheat flour
  • 2/3 cup(s) corn meal

Put 1 - 2 inches water into the bottom section of a double boiler and bring to a simmer. Heat 4 cups water to near boiling and add to top part of boiler.
