Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar, preferably Sugar in the Raw or granulated sugar
  • 1 cup pecans
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • + 13 more ingredients
    • 7 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch dice
    • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
    • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
    • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 10 peaches pitted and cut into 1/2-inch slices (4 3/4 pounds)
    • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
    • ½ teaspoon baking soda
