Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup shortening
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
