Ingredients

  • Zinfandel-Poached Figs
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • ½ vanilla bean, split
  • ½ cup plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • Garnish: freshly grated nutmeg
  • 2 ½ cups buttermilk
