Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
  • 6 Tbs. unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 baked pie shell
  • 3 Tbs. all-purpose flour
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
    • ½ tsp. freshly grated nutmeg

Heat the oven to 350°F. In a mixer, combine the butter and sugar until the sugar is completely incorporated. Add the egg yolks and mix well to combine. Add the flour, lemon juice, nutmeg, and salt.
