Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup whippingcream
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup golden brown sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 400°F. Sift all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into medium bowl. Add chilled butter; using fingertips, rub in until coarse meal forms. Mix in chips.
