Butterscotch Pie 28

Ingredients

  • 3 cup(s) milk
  • 1 cup(s) firmly packed brown sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 3 ½ tablespoon(s) cornstarch (heaping)
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • ½ cup(s) butter

Cook first 5 ingredients. Add butter and vanilla, pour into baked pie crust. Prepare meringue from egg whites, put on pie. Brown slightly in oven at 375° for 10-12 minutes.
