Butterscotch Taffy


  • ½ cup(s) butter
  • 48 marshmallows (large)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) water
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 butterscotch chips (2 cup 12 ounce )

Combine the butter, marshmallows, water and salt in a heavy saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat until smooth. Add chips; stir until melted. Pour into a buttered 8 in. square baking pan. Cool and then cut into 1 in. squares. Wrap individually in waxed paper, twist ends. Makes about 5 dozen candies.
