Buttery Blue Cheese Spread


  • ½ cup(s) walnuts, diced and toasted
  • 1 package(s) blue cheese, crumbled (4 ounce pkg)
  • ½ cup(s) fresh chives, chopped
  • ½ cup(s) butter, softened
  • 3 package(s) cream cheese, softened (8 ounce pkgs)

Stir ingredients together. Cover and chill 8 hours. Let stand at room temperature until softened, or freeze cheese spread up to 1 month and thaw in refrigerator 8 hours. Makes 5 cups. Serve with apples or pears, toasted baguette slices, or tortilla chips.
