Buttery Jam Cookies

Ingredients

• 8 Tablespoons (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
• ²/₃ cup raw sugar
• 1 large egg
• 2 Tablespoons whole milk
• ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
• ¹/₃ cup chunky cherry preserves
• 2 cups all purpose flour
