Buttery Jam Cookies

Ingredients

  • 8 Tablespoons (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup raw sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tablespoons whole milk
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup chunky cherry preserves
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
    • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
    • 1 cup white chocolate chips
