Buttery Rice Pilaf


  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup (½ stick) butter, diced
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups long-grain white rice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup (½ stick) margarine

1. Melt margarine in heavy large saucepan over medium-high heat. Mix in 1 teaspoon salt, then rice. Sauté until rice is golden, about 8 minutes. Add water.
