Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 (1/4 oz.) packet unflavored gelatin
  • 1 ½ (3 oz.) packages soft ladyfingers
  • 3 tablespoons plus 1 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon, plus more for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

    • 1 cup milk
    • 4 large eggs

    • 3 tablespoons cold water
    • 1 ¼ cups hot double-strong brewed coffee
    • ¼ cup confectioners' sugar

Mix gelatin and 3 Tbsp. cold water in a cup; set aside. Stir together 3/4 cup coffee and 3 Tbsp. sugar in another cup; set aside.
