Cake with Buttercream Decorating Frosting

Ingredients

• ¾ cup milk
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 3 pounds confectioners' sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup butter (no substitutes), softened
