Calamari and Rice

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ teaspoons canned tomato paste
  • 3 1/3 cups water
  • 1 ½ cups converted long-grain white rice
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 6 squid, cleaned and cut into ½ inch rings
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
