Candied Orange Slices with Ganache Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups turbinado sugar
  • Oranges:
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons 2% milk
  • Ganache:
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier (orange-flavored liqueur)
    • 8 (1/4-inch-thick) unpeeled orange slices (about 2 oranges)
    • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips

To prepare oranges, place orange slices in a medium saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil; drain orange slices on paper towels.
