Canoe Bay Onion Tart
Ingredients
- CRUST
- 1 ½ cup(s) sifted flour

- 4 ounce(s) unsalted butter (very cold), cut into small pieces

- 1 ½ pound(s) peeled, sliced vidalia onions

To prepare crust: Using finger tips blend flour, salt, and butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. (Butter should be in tiny lumps: this makes crust flaky.) Form a well in center of dough.
