Ingredients

  • ½ tsp. lemon juice
  • 6 small red apples, such as Braeburn, Gala, or Pink Lady
  • 3-½ Tbs. unsalted butter, cut into 3 pieces
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1-½ cups granulated sugar

Wash the apples and dry them very well. Remove the stems. Insert a popsicle stick, chopstick, or sturdy bamboo skewer through the stem end of each.
