Caramel Apples or Pretzel Rods
Ingredients
- 1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk (14 oz. can)
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 1 cup(s) light corn syrup
- 2 cup(s) brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup(s) butter
- 14 Apples (small)
Melt butter; stir in sugar, corn syrup and dash of salt. Mix well. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. stir in milk. Cook, stirring, to 245°, about 12-15 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Dip each apple. Set on a buttered cookie sheet. This is a great recipe for the pretzel...
