Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 4 oz. (½ cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup plus ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 6 oz. (1-1/3 cups) unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped toasted pecans
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. table salt
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 recipe Butterscotch Frosting

Position a rack in the lower third of the oven and heat the oven to 350°F. Line 12 standard-size muffin cups with paper liners.
