Caramel-Nut Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ sticks unsalted butter, room temperature, plus more for pan
  • 1 ½ cups (6 ounces) pecans
  • 1 cup (4 ½ ounces) salted cashews
  • 1 cup (5 ounces) salted peanuts
  • ¾ cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ teaspoons plus a pinch of salt
