Ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 large eggs
  • Mincemeat Ice Cream
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

    • ¾ cup half and half
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    • 3 tablespoons lard
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup canned pure pumpkin
    • 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
    • 1 large egg yolk
    • 2 tablespoons water
    • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger

Mix flour, sugar, and salt in processor. Add butter and lard; using on/off turns, process until coarse meal forms. Add 2 tablespoons ice water and process until moist clumps form, adding more ice water by teaspoonfuls if mixture is dry. Form dough into disk. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate 1 hour...
