Ingredients

  • 1 unglazed terra-cotta pot (5 in. tall and 6 in. wide)
  • 3 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¾ cup (6 oz.) butter or margarine, at room temperature
  • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1 ¼ cups sugar
    • 1 piece (about 15 in. square) cooking parchment
    • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
    • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
