Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup low-fat buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

    • 6.75 ounces all-purpose flour (about 1 1/2 cups), divided
    • ¼ cup chilled butter, cut into small pieces
