Catfish Poppers With Spicy Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup milk
  • Vegetable oil
  • 1 ½ cups Japanese breadcrumbs (panko)
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Spicy Dipping Sauce
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 ¾ pounds catfish fillets, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
    • ½ teaspoon salt

1. Combine first 3 ingredients; whisk together egg and milk. Dredge catfish pieces in flour mixture, and dip in egg mixture. Dredge in breadcrumbs. 2.
