Cedar Key Spread


  • Garnishes: fresh lime zest, freshly ground pepper
  • ½ (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ pound smoked bluefish
  • 2 ½ teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • ¾ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce

Remove skin and bones from bluefish. Process fish in food processor until finely chopped. Add cream cheese and next 3 ingredients; process until smooth. Cover and chill thoroughly; garnish, if desired.
