Chai-Poached Apricots and Plums
Ingredients
- 6 ounces dried California apricots
- 6 ounces dried Angelino plums
- ½ vanilla bean
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 chai tea bags
Combine sugar and 3 cups water in a 3- to 4-quart saucepan. Halve vanilla bean lengthwise with a paring knife and scrape seeds into pan, then add pod.
