Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 cups (2 pounds) shredded extra sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour, divided

Cream butter in a large mixing bowl; set aside. Combine flour, salt, mustard, and pepper in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Add 2 cups flour mixture to butter; beat well.
