Cheese Straws

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 3 tablespoons cold water

Combine flour and baking powder. Cut in cheese and butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
