Cheesy Potato and Bacon Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 cup(s) water
  • ¾ pound(s) bacon
  • 12 ounce(s) evaporated milk
  • ½ pound(s) processed cheese loaf - diced
  • 2 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 2 teaspoon(s) butter
  • 1 ½ cup(s) carrots - peeled and diced

    • 1 ½ cup(s) celery - diced
    • 1 cup(s) onion - diced
    • 6 cup(s) potatoes - peeled and cut into bite sized pieces
    • ½ can(s) red bell pepper - diced
    • 2 teaspoon(s) salt
    • 1 cup(s) milk
    • 2 teaspoon(s) parsley

Place butter along with the carrots, celery, onion and red bell pepper into a soup pot and saute the vegetables over medium heat until crisp tender, approximately 8-10 minutes.
