Chef John's Spinach and Feta Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pound fresh spinach
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 1 pinch salt
