Ingredients

  • 1 (20-ounce) can light cherry pie filling
  • 1 ½ cups 1% low-fat milk
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 15 ladyfingers
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • ¾ cup low-fat sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ½ cup sugar
    • ¼ cup orange juice
    • 2 tablespoons amaretto (almond-flavored liqueur)
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl; stir well with a whisk. Set aside. Heat milk over medium-high heat in a medium, heavy saucepan to 180° or until tiny bubbles form around edge (do not boil).
