Ingredients

  • 4 onions
  • 6 cup(s) Chopped Celery
  • 2 Hot Red Peppers Chopped (Small)
  • 4 Sweet Peppers Chopped - Red or Green
  • 24 Firm Ripe Tomatoes Chopped
  • 2 ½ cup(s) vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon(s) salt
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon(s) Broken Cinnamon Sticks
    • 1 teaspoon(s) whole allspice
    • 1 teaspoon(s) mustard seed
    • 1 teaspoon(s) celery seed
    • 1 teaspoon(s) whole cloves

Combine the 1st 8 ingredients in kettle. Tie spices in a bag, and then add to ingredients. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat. Simmer 2 hours stirring occasionally. Remove spice bag. Makes 6-7 pints
