Chocolate Angel Food Cake II

Ingredients

  • confectioners' sugar for dusting
  • 1 ½ teaspoons lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ¾ cup cake flour
  • 12 egg whites
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 3 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, grated
    • 1 ½ cups white sugar
    • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). If it does not have a removable bottom, line a 9 inch tube pan with parchment paper. Sift together the flour, cocoa and 3/4 cup of the sugar.
